Established on 1 April 1967, Loktak Christian Model High School, Moirang (affectionately known as LCM H/S Moirang) proudly derives its identity from the historic and famous Loktak Lake. Rooted fundamentally in faith and dedication, the institution aims to share a life of purpose and hope with the younger generation. The school focuses on civilizing, uplifting, and enlightening the children of Manipur, preparing them to dedicate their talents and life paths to the service of the state, the country, and the global society.

The school achieved formal recognition from the Manipur State Government on 1 February 1981, and operates under Registration Number 43513. It is wholly owned and managed by the Meitei Presbytery Society. The foundational blueprint of the school centres around promoting a moral, truth-centered quality education that nurtures staff, students, and parents under its inspiring motto, "Love, care and service of Human kind," working strategically to impart a comprehensive knowledge of the true meaning of life, thought, and hope.
